Dissapointed
The location is in a corporate area and I was not aware that the restaurants all would be closed so early. Additionally the carpet is pretty rough looking the rooms could use a major update. The Beds were comfy but they room was basic, no mini-fridge or microwave. The worst part was ho rude the staff were to everyone. Myself and 4 other colleagues felt the staff were very rude, unwelcoming and not very helpful.

Exceptional 10.0
Another great stay!
The staff here is always welcoming and accommodating, including the housekeeping staff. The text check-ins are a nice bonus. This is my favorite place to stay in the city, and the renovations are beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the restaurant open again soon but the complementary breakfast is a nice touch.

Hotels.com forgot to mention lack of services!
Hotels.com forgot to mention there is no bar/restaurant or even a vending machine. They did have ice and water, but that is all. Rooms are gorgeous and I'm sure the common areas will be nice once construction is complete. This is a downtown area and nothing is open for services/food at night/weekends.

Had a great stay in the newly remodeled room even though the hotel is still under renovations with no bar or dining.

Poor 2.0
Disgusting remodeling mess, reeks of carpet glue!
Horrible horrible experience. No parking, you HAVE to valet. No restaurant, no snack station at front, Everything is torn up and it is named Doubletree on all the maps but this name when you book. Parking is $40 overnight. There is construction everywhere. It’s dirty and smells of carpet glue. I got such a horrible headache I was ready to leave after 10 minutes but I had already paid $350 and it was non-refundable. The furnishings look like cheap dorm room. No decent lighting. I had to use a flashlight to get all my stuff when I left at 6 am. On the wall the “art” is a 4 foot picture of a black lady in Mod Squad clothes staring down at you. It’s huge and very disturbing to have a huge picture of someone staring at you in front of the bed. Not because she is black but because I don’T want a picture of anyone staring at me while I sleep! The bed was hard and uncomfortable,The toilet paper kept falling off the handle because they installed it backwards. There is about an inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor so there is absolutely NO privacy. The bathroom door is a barn door that doesn’t lock. Oh and the “fridge” was a drawer that never got anything cold.DON’T STAY HERE! Unless you’re going to the Allen Center in the morning and want a horrible experience stay far away! When I left I asked for a receipt for business travel. They gave me a sheet of printout with “Amount owed: $0. That’s it. I said I needed something more. She said that’s all they could give.
