It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Aloha spirit! The staff are friendly and helpful and very accommodating. The facility is beautiful: multiple swimming pools , a gorgeous beach, great food and music every night! It’s easy to get to from the airport and close to shopping. Simply great!

Glorified motel with 5-star prices
- Front desk staff truly terrible - Pool area looks (and feels) like a cheap motel (but you're easily paying 400+ dollars wt all their fees) - Wifi (very) patchy - Restaurant is actually nice, but massively overpriced (we went to dinner at Timbers, 5 star resort, and it came out cheaper) The 'positives': - Rooms honestly aren't bad - All the staff OTHER than front desk were really nice Tip to the owner: if people have a bad check-in experience (service, process, timing), that basically kills the mood. There is NO reason for checkin being at 4 pm if checkout is at 11. And seriously, change your staff. We stayed in several other hotels on the trip and everyone else was super friendly.

Mostly enjoyable vacation
The hotel was wonderful - room very clean and well laid out. The grounds were beautiful and the swimming pools and hot tubs were very inviting. The only things I didn't like were the nightly parking charge and the extreme loudness of the music in the "Shutters". (I had to use ear plugs to enjoy my dinner)

Beach Unusable, Rooms Need Updating
Wow, this place is called “beach resort “, but you can’t use the beach it is on. They tell you to drive to Lydgate State Park. Upon check-in, I was charged an extra $110 for $29 parking, $25 resort fee and $40 because I had an “extra person” (despite having booked a room with two double beds, which would sleep 4). I asked if that meant I was getting a nice room and the attendant said “you get what you pay for,” which was pretty rude. This hotel needs to be updated - the room smells musty/70’s-ish, the chairs were old and dirty, so I wouldn’t want to sit on them. The pool area is above average nice. You have to get your 1 towel at the pool hut and if you don’t return it by 6 PM, then you get charged $10. Not at all worth the $410/night.

The resort was very nice, though the front desk wasnt able to answer a few basic questions about the property, and when I ordered drinks at the bar- they were already very pricey - gratuity was already added in- which I found frustrating, and of course left no motivation for good service.

The property over all was very nice but our room in bld 3 was a little out dated and had ants in the room the air conditioner and hot water did not work very well at first but they did get that fixed. The view was great . not much to do and I did feel isolated without a car. Maybe more games around the pool even corn hole boards would help. And staff would not light the firepit the first few days.That was very disapointing.
