what happened!
I am an early riser and was quite disappointed to not be able to get coffee in the lobby until 7:00 a.m. My understanding was it was being served at 6:30-it was not. Also restaurant opened at 3 and I was not able to order food until 4...uggh I stayed here previously and it was wonderful, which is why I booked again. Tub drained slowly, guest next door woke us trying to "lock" the adjoining door which is already locked. Just not happy this trip around and would rate it as a so-so experience.

Needs cleaned/updated
Check-in was easy and the young lady working was very friendly(best part of the whole stay). The room smelled like dogs which was not good for allergies. Shower was not very clean and stood on towel to shower. We went to the lobby bar to have a drink and wait for the rest of our party to arrive. It was after 10 and the kitchen closed which we knew and was fine with. Ordered a pizza and tried to eat at the tables in the bar area and was told no we couldn’t so we had to take our drinks and eat in the lobby chairs. The lobby needs a good cleaning, I understand old an worn out carpet but the floors had big stains and the chairs needed cleaning. Maybe invest in leather so they are easy to wipe off. Headed up to our room on the 3rd floor. Air conditioner was very loud so which we turned the tv on so we didn’t have to hear it. We woke up to water coming through the ceiling. We reported it but nothing happened. We checked out..would not stay again.

Good location but you get what you pay for
The staff is very nice and the location is a quick Uber ride from Broadway. BUT… 1. If you are booking this hotel on hotels.com or any other third party site, make sure the person checking you in does the “routing” correctly. I prepaid and was almost double charged. I caught it before I checked out but it seems to be an ongoing issue here. 2. The housekeeping service is a bit all over the place. I was told at check in that they only go in your room if you request it. So by the second third day I called asking for more towels. I was told that it would be easier to come down and get them myself. I then requested someone to come into the room the next day. When the housekeeper came, I said I only needed towels. She handed me one towel but I needed more for my room size. She had to go from room to room to find them. I was assured that they were clean but I don’t know. On the day of checkout, they emailed me, texted me, and then sent someone to my room at 8:30am to ask when I was checking out. I was trying to sleep before traveling home. The checkout is at 11. Then another person came to my room at 10:00am to see when I was leaving. I get wanting to turn over the rooms but it’s really frustrating that housekeeping is all of a sudden around to rush people out but when we need fresh towels, there’s no effort. 3. Overall, the hotel needs some updates and renovations. There are barely any outlets and the bathroom had peeling wallpaper and chips in the tub

Not recommending
Our stay was not so good. This hotel is very dated. There are no plugs near the bed to charge phones etc. the carpets were dirty in the room and musty smelling. When we checked in the first day I waited (along with others) 10 minutes before someone came out to see if anyone was there to check in.
