Great central location Temple bar hotel
The 3 of us arrived Feb 14 at 1030am. Our room was not available yet, however for a fee of 25 Euro, Front desk advised they could move us up in the queue of guests waiting for rooms and ours was for a triple. I agreed to pay the 25 Euro. The room seemed smaller that I thought it was going to be, which was not a big deal, however the view was terrible! Still, for 3 nights we thought we could live with it. We were on the first floor at the back of the hotel, last room, beautiful large ceiling and windows which opened up to view of air handling units, ducts, pipes and construction workers on ladders working on building next door, the only pretty part was the pidgeons settling on the ducts. This was still ok for us, but then the toilet did not flush properly, water was barely trickling and even after maintenance attended, it still did not work properly. We decided to ask for another room, the staff at the front desk were terrific. As soon as another triple room became available, within 30 mins, they brought new keys to our room. The next room was on the 4th floor, larger, everything working as it should be. The hotel staff handled the situation very professionally and all throughout the remainder of our stay could not have been friendlier. The breakfast was outstanding, great coffee and cappucino. We took a taxi to the hotel, 25 Euro from the airport, 32 on the way back. Recommend free walking tours, Oneils pub for lunch, any bar playing live music Temple bar.

Dublin fun!
We spent four days in Dublin and this hotel is in the heart of all the fun spots and really good restaurants. The hotel was welcoming and very clean. Our room was on the street side and it being over Halloween we found it noisy at night but with no problem had a room change. If you want a fast paced area stay here....really enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay
It was a great place to stay and right in the middle of all of the action. We were there on a Tuesday and Wednesday night so we didn't need the ear plugs they so kindly provided us with. :)
