It was the halfway point of our trip and all we really wanted was a good nights sleep and a good breakfast before we got back on the road Well the bed was good but the noise from the interstate was not so nice so very little sleep breakfast was not included and did not look very appetizing so we passed on that. But the price was good and if we knew we could stay in the main part of the hotel and not out in the spot by the interstate we would give it another try

A hotel with a problem
An early indication of the problems at this hotel was the observation that when we checked in late, into this hotel (for a 3-night stay), was the generally unclean state of our room: sticky floor, poorly cleaned bathroom, and poorly made bed. We assumed all would be fixed by housekeeping the following day. Upon our late return to the room the following day, we discovered housekeeping never showed up in the room. When we complained at the front desk, we did receive fresh towels and pods of coffee and an assurance that housekeeping would clean the room the following day. When we returned to the room for our third night, once again housekeeping did not clean our room. This time the front desk tried to explain that the hotel was in the middle of an ownership change and had problems with housekeeping. The property manager was totally ineffective in dealing with this issue. I know Wyndham Garden is a “mid-brand” of Wyndham, but this was truly unacceptable.

Will not stay here again
First room assignment was being treated with an ionizer. Was moved to another room which had a musky smell. But clean and comfortable enough. The hairdryer did not worked. First floor ice machine was plugged in and working but not connected to the water line so had to go to the 2nd floor for ice.

Disappointing stay at Wyndham Garden Marietta
I had used the Wyndham Garden before and stayed in the main building which was enclosed with interior building doors only. That building was full and they put me in a Motel 6 style building and told me the other building was full and I had no choice. I got to the room and it was damaged and they had to change me to a different room.
