10/10 Exceptional

I arranged this hotel for myself and 3 childhood friends post 3 days in Sedona. It was way beyond expectations on every level. My only regret was I could not stay one more day. It is a 2-minute drive to downtown Old town Scottsdale. They offer a van ride. It is 18 minutes from the airport. Their shuttle does not go to the airport. It was very Uber easy. I am already planning to return. I highly recommend it.

8/10 Very good

The Scott Resort & Spa is a great place to get away and relax. We really enjoyed the ambience and the peaceful setting. The shuttle staff were fantastic - thanks for the multiple rides into Old Town Scottsdale! Had massages at La Vidora Spa which were wonderful. The staff was professional and skilled at their jobs. Wish there were more dining options at the resort - the bar at the Canal Club is a bit small. More seating is needed. It would be nice to add omelets to your breakfast menu. We asked and the kitchen wasn't able to accommodate. Front desk staff was efficient and knowledgeable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here and would like to come back - just maybe not over a holiday weekend. There were lots of bachelorette parties taking place while we were there.

2/10 Poor

Don’t let the Instagrammable lobby fool you!
Don’t let the Instagrammable lobby fool you! The entrance of the hotel is the only nice thing about it. The rooms are awful: dusty, dirty and tight. The AC is obnoxiously loud. The bathrooms are tiny and shower floors are disgusting. The towels are gross. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors as if they are in the room with you. We were not even offered help with our luggage and had to drag our heavy suitcases through the hotel grounds, through carpetted hallways, and multiple doors and inclines… we were sweaty and exhausted by the time we got to our room which is not how you expect to start your vacation at a $300/night hotel. We ended up releasing the room and booking a last minute hotel 5 minutes down the road where the staff was wonderful, the food was amazing, the rooms were clean, modern and spacious and we had an amazing stay. Do yourself a favor: book literally any other hotel in town.

6/10 Good

Nice place, mediocre service... not quite luxury
Property is quite nice, great pool & lobby, comfortable (if basic) rooms - but the service does not live up to the 4-star billing. Small details also make me question the property's "luxury" status claim - sticky & squeaky doors, broken ice machines, inadequate A/C in rooms, dingy towels... at this price point, I expected a bit more.

2/10 Poor

Will never stay here again. It is 1 in the morning and the walls are so paper thin we can hear the bachelorette party next door. The staff acted like we were inconveniencing them.

8/10 Very good

Service by all staff was amazing! The lobby is beautiful. Rooms weren't too bad but the shower could use an upgrade. The issue I had is everytime we would leave thru the door of the foyer of where all the rooms located on the second floor, a huge gush of water, AC fluid, would spill out from the top, causing it to go all over you if you werent careful. They should try and locate this somewhere else as it's just disgusting.
