Only 1 elevator for 15 floor guests. Convenient and a new hotel. Reception not very good in English. Only 2 can speak English. The hotel made use of the bottom of the bed space so that you can store luggage Room is small but ok.

Very continent location, new hotel. However, only one elevator is a challenge at rush hours.

perfect little place in Kabuki-cho
Very clean, central to transit, soundproof, and perfect for a single traveler. The staff at the front desk were very helpful directing me to the Don Quixote to buy a secondary suitcase when I inquired. Also the hotel took the environment seriously, with lots of energy saving ideas in place and cutting down on environmental impact where they could. Also great was having a small fridge in my room so I could keep my water and juice cold. The elevator took forever to arrive half the time so I mostly took the stairs, being on the second floor and all. All in all, would definitely stay here again

Great Shinjuku Hotel
Small hotel room, but spacious enough for 2 people. Room was well-designed and had enough space for us + all of our luggage at the end of a 1-month trip. Bed was also extremely comfortable. Facility was very clean, staff was very friendly. A very minor thing - there was only 1 elevator so sometimes during busy times in the morning or evening, it took a while to get to our floor, but overall was not a problem. Location is extremely convenient - 8m walk to the JR Shinjuku station and right in the midst of the Kabukicho area. We stayed on the 14th floor so there wasn't much noise to bother us either.

Fine Hotel: Location not our cup of tea
This was our first place to stay on our trip. I thought it would be neat to stay near the Godzilla. The hotel service was superb and the hotel itself was very nice. Probably because of the location but our rooms were the smallest here out of all of our hotel stays (we tried out 4 hotels). Bathroom was tiny but we are pretty simple and dont mind. One thing that felt a little dirty was that I'd find hair on the carpet that wasn't mine. In terms of area, it was a neat experience to stay in the red light district. Lots of noise and loud people. Probably the dirtiest areas of Japan because of the left over garbage and beer cans. Next time, we'd probably stay elsewhere because we realize that the drinking scene isn't for us.
