A classic property right in the centre of the Strip makes The Flamingo a great choice if you like all the hustle and bustle. The rooms are fairly spacious and in decent shape, though our bathroom had some issues (slow draining sink and ceiling above shower peeling). Bed was comfy. The hallway carpets were also a lumpy mess, but this is mainly a cosmetic complaint. Noise from loud music at the outdoor bar between the Linq and Harrah's played until 3am both Friday and Saturday night which, even on the 25th floor, was pretty thumping. (Our room faced that way.) Some may find this concerning if they like to sleep before 3. Resort fee is exorbitant and you still have to pay for self parking on top of that. Check in was done at a kiosk and was pretty easy, though I could see lots of folks having issues figuring the directions out. They had minimal staff there to help. Check out couldn't be easier, though. It was done online. Would I stay there again? Maybe. The price is right if you can't get a comp somewhere else. Still, I'm glad I have it a try!

Our stay at the flamingo was great. Such a great location, right in the heart of the strip. Be aware of resort fees however can catch you off guard at checkout

For being closed for a few months and then reduced capacity during COVID, we were expecting better quality for the rooms. Our room desperately needed an upgrade. Walls were dirty, the couch was dirty, and the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling by the wires. As well, for going during the week during off season, the hotel was going to charge us $50 for early check in. We’ve never paid to check in early! This was our 3rd time at the hotel, but we won’t be back again.

Internet scam - they only allow two devices per room and then charge you 15/bucks per room. It’s 2022, who does !?!? We asked for a cot several times and bed sheets and they never brought them to us. My friend had to sleep on the floor without anything because they “forgot”. We’re still waiting for the cot. Highly would not recommend, better off paying a bit more for a better experience.

We had a dog with us and were placed in a room over the nightclubs. This is not a good room for a dog due to the noise. Otherwise, the hotel's acceptance and treatment of pets was fantastic.
