Compact room. Comfortable bed. Neat and tidy. We thought at first there was no fan in the bathroom, but later discovered it was inside the shower enclosure. Overall a good experience.

GS staff were accommodated and sweet. The room was big. Not a lot of furniture inside for the size of the room. Bathroom was dirty, the tv wasn't working (movie channel) and found empty bottle wine under the bed. They advertise free Wifi, but you have to sign up with their HH honor program in order for you to receive it or they will charge you. A little pricey food & beverage but the drinks were good and the apps were too.

NYE Hilton downtown Portland a downer for disabled
I had booked a room for ADA accommodations with two beds. The hotel gave me a room that they said was very spacious and I can get a mobility device in and out easily however that was not the case nobody could get my device into the room they tried moving furniture in and out and that didn’t work the only other room they had was a king size bed and I was with someone of the opposite sex that I don’t sleep with epic fail! Getting around the hotel and using the bathrooms were futile I wasted a lot of our New Year’s eve evening and event that we were attending trying to find accessibility with little or no help. So if you have a mobility device like a wheelchair or scooter it would be difficult for you to get around most of the ADA rooms and other areas like bathrooms in the hotel. Only the front door has handicap accessibility with automatic doors, none of the bathrooms did The bathrooms were marked with ADA accessibility markers however The bathrooms I tried to get into did not have larger stalls so I had to go and leave the door open the sinks were difficult to get to as were the paper towels. My friend and I went for the champagne ball and a lot of stress and havic could’ve been prevented if the hotel we’re prepared to help people with disabilities like mine. Also I was not able to get a hold of the hotel.com reservation to try and rectify my dilemma and as of today I still have not been contacted.
