This Park Hyatt is in a nice business area, the hotel interior is not as nice as other Park Hyatt such as in Tokyo and Milan, The hallway looks like 3 star hotels. Bathroom is fair plain deco. The bed is clean and comfortable. Staff is nice and friendly. Lean lady did not clean my room after requested in person. I like the tea display in lobby/restaurant, very beautiful presentation of high grade interesting tea. Hotel need renovation in rooms/hallways. Thanks

if you’re visiting DC, stay here
This is my new go-to hotel for DC. I’ve stayed at the Park Hyatt in Tokyo before. The location of the hotel in DC is great. It’s an easy walk to Georgetown in a quieter part of the city. The Blue Duck Tavern, an excellent place to dine, is downstairs. The room was clean and well appointed. I stayed in a junior suite and it was extremely comfortable. The staff was attentive, courteous, and helpful.

Still very good but needs better staff supervision
It is an excellent hotel with a good restaurant and great bar but... the rooms, large and well furnished, need a freshen up with added points to charge phones, computers and tablets. Reception staff can be warm and helpful...or not. Same goes for the breakfast team. Emely or Craig and a couple of others whose name I didn’t see, were perfect. Others forgot to smile or don’t know how, and one or two waiters had clearly not been trained. Another issue with the Expedia reservation. It presented 3 options at growing prices : room, junior suite and suite. I booked and paid for the latter only to be told by the front desk upon arrival that there was no such thing as a « suite ». It was a junior suite on the street side, what they call « city view » (and noise), as opposed to garden view (much quieter).
