Worst stay of my life
This hotel totally sucks, it had mice crap in tub and sink, you really think this location is worth $300? This is an old 1970’s building with zero maintenance. Tools from maintenance on the floor with no electricity, you should not be endorsing these types of hotels if you can actually call this a hotel.

Not My Cup of Tea:(
We always love staying at La Quinta Hotels in different cities in Texas. They are always clean, updated, and friendly service. However, this Motel (not Hotel) did not meet La Quinta's standards at all. The staff was friendly, and room was clean (however, it did smell of stall cigarettes). Maintenace of the outside was very poor. The motel looks unkept and neglected. Pull up the weeds, paint the place, clean up the surroundings to make it look inviting. It looks like a scary rundown motel. Advertise as a motel because that is what it is. The room doors open to the outside (a safety issue for me). Update the bathrooms and replace the carpet (at least) to get the old smell out. Overall, this does not meet Wyndham standards and I'll never stay here again or recommend this location to a friend.

This hotel needs a lot of work and new staff. Not very friendly. The hotel looks like the name was just changed yesterday to La Quinta...from a motel.

Great value if you charge $29/ night
This has to be the oldest and most outdated La Quinta in the country. Poorly lit, poorly maintained and poor service. This is a hotel charging $100/ night prices for a $49/night experience. There were 5 lights total in the room and only 2 actually worked. Should I be concerned that the smoke detector was disabled and laying on the night stand? How about the carpeting that was installed in 1968 and cleaned twice since then? We certainly bolted the door as we didn’t feel safe in a safe area of town.

Our first room smelled so much like cat urine that we needed to switch. Front desk was accommodating. Used to La Quinta being a clean, budget-friendly option. This place needs to be renovated. Second room was acceptable, but felt the facility in general is in disrepair.
