Shiba Park Hotel, Tokyo
Fantastic stay
Loved this hotel, the location and room were fabulous. The Staff were all extremely polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and for the price I would highly recommend staying here!

Spacious, clean room close to trains
Great place to stay. Clean and it was in a convenient location. Bed was comfortable - much more comfortable than another hotel we stayed in of a similar age. It was easy to get to the subway and JR stations. The front desk staff spoke good English so that was very welcoming. Spacious room. Lots of convenience stores around, including a couple of 7-11s that were useful for their cheap international ABM. We would come back.

Room condition can be improved.
AC is not cold enough, bath room a bit smelly, staff is good. Location is good.

Convenient & clean, but skip the buffet breakfast.
This hotel was very good overall, but VERY busy (we were there on a holiday weekend), so there was usually a long wait for an elevator. The biggest disappointment was the buffet breakfast, which was terrible and definitely not worth the price. Also annoying that you couldn't charge it to your room, as my family tends to go at different times ( 2 early-birds, 2 late sleepers). It was very conveniently located and great that they had very comfortable rooms with 4 beds. There's a public bath (onsen) just a block from the hotel that just 100 yen per person if you're comfortable going with the locals and already know the drill. (Men & women bathe separately.)

Off the beaten path
The hotel is not visible from the main roads. Cab drivers had a difficult time finding it -- had to use their GPS. Clerks, management very friendly and helpful. Two restaurants, but neither one great. The room is small, but bathroom facilities were very good. Our biggest complaint was that there wasn't much in the way of restaurants or shopping nearby. One can walk several blocks to find Japanese restaurants, not much else.
