    The property is in the perfect location, close to great shopping, restaurants, Marta. Customer service was excellent and the food was amazing. The room windows need to be cleaned, as it takes away from the view. Mini bar was filled, which was great, however there was no room for personal items like water bottles, etc.

    Busy Business Traveller

    First time at this hotel. I did call to let them know my flight would be arriving very late. The person on the phone advised that they could not guarantee I would have a room when I arrived! This was very shocking to me since I had prepaid my room for the two day stay. When I called back no one would answer the phone which I found very odd. But when I checked in the staff that assisted me was wonderful and very professional. I did reserve a King but ended up with two doubles. Not exactly what I wanted!

    Elegance, Value and Superior Customer Service

    The Whitley is a fabulous property, tremendous value and fantastic customer service. As a context for my review, I enjoy nice hotels and stay at the Four Seasons, Pennisula and various boutique hotels around the world. Six individuals from our company, two from London, recently stayed at The Whitley in Buckhead, Atlanta Georgia. We were celebrating 10 years of working together as a team and wanted to enjoy the warmth Atlanta had to offer in December 2021. Not only did the weather deliver, our stay at The Whitley, which has an elegance with its art work, crown molding and columned architecture,combined with a comfortable setting where you can relax in the lobby which opens up to a nice restaurant bar. The servers were kind and the chefs delivered. Warmer than the sun is the staff at The Whitley; they are not only professional but they connect. They are able to be helpful and friendly, while also assisting with check-in, room or dining matters. I say the following with great pride - the team at the Whitley is superb from the door persons, the front desk to the wonderful team in the cafe. In 2021, it is so rare to find a business venue where the team really makes a difference. The quality of the hotel, the amenities (nice gym and indoor 20 meter pool) and the 2 minute walk across the street to the Lenox Mall for shopping or dining is very convenient. Hats off to the team and their leadership, they have created something special at The Whitley Buckhead.

    Our mini fridge had a previous guests left overs in it. Our toilet ran all night long and the alarm was pre-set for 6am. So much for a little vacation.

    Hotel seemed very dated. It was a topic of conversation with my business colleagues, so my observations were not unique. My room had a couple items, lamps, drapes that didn’t work. The clock in the elevators were still on daylight savings time which should be embarrassing. I like Marriott’s and travel to ATL 3-4 times, but will select other properties or Hilton brands next time.
