Good location close to Victoria Station
The hotel is well located and they got us our room earlier than check in time. The bed was really uncomfortable. Two matresses pushed together so I kept falling into the middle. I stayed for six nights, but would recommend two, given the bed discomfort.

Good older hotel with just the best staff
Across from Buckingham palace it has a great location. Checkin was longer and slower than we like. Rooms are older, bathroom update was very nice and had great sleep both nights. The staff here is the property's greatest asset. Alex and Aaron on the door is the start followed by Bogdan on the concierge desk are friendly and extremely helpful. Other people from the front desk and service personnel for breakfast all impressed. We started with a lower assessment of the hotel but left overly impressed. One elevator being down for maintenance leaving one phone booth sized elevator for everyone and baggage delivery was less than ideal. We were on fourth floor and did the old stairs more than we anticipated.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Particularly Lea. I had an emergency medical issue and the hotel stepped up and helped us in so many ways. They accommodated us and provided everything we needed. I can’t thank them enough. It is a lovely hotel in a great location. I couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you.

Exceptional 10.0
Although I have been to London many times and stayed at lots of properties, Ruebens is now my top choice for a London hotel! Pretty much perfect in every way, great location, walkable to most everything in central London, easily accessible to transportation, tastefully decorated even though the rooms are small, great bathrooms with amazing rain showers and staff that exhibit the best of customer service. Small things eg noticing that my jam was running low and replacing it without being asked, bringing another pot of hot coffee in the event the previous pot had grown slightly cold again without being asked, etc. All small touches that show great dedication to customer service. Cant wait to return.

Wonderful hotel for vacation or business
We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the hotel. The staff did an excellent job in making us feel welcome. It is only one block from Victoria Underground and two blocks from Victoria train station. Tour buses and city buses stop near by. The Royal Mews and the Queens's Gallery are right across the road and we recommend both. The breakfast and afternoon high tea are excellent. If on holidays, you should get your picture taken with the doorman in his red coat. Rooms are a little small but very comfortable.

Excellent service from the moment we arrived laden with bags. Room was lovely as was bathroom. Bed was vast! Very comfortable. Drinks in the bar were very good and we had a really lovely meal in the restaurant. Would definitely choose to stay here again.
