Took the train to Seattle and had stayed at this property before. Was given the option for early check in on the Marriott Bonvoy app and through email but was informed only in person that it was $30 upcharge to do so. We didn't urgently need to be in a room so we decided to wait. Later, after we returned for the night, the elevators stopped working and they were reliant on a single service elevator. We were thankfully on a low enough floor to be able to take the stairs. Finally, the air conditioning unit made a high pitch whine when it was on

The hotel looks very nice at the surface but there was a few things that was not nice. the parking garage was hard to find parking due to the hotel also allowing public parking which is fine but even as paying hotel customers we had to park all the way at the end. The bathroom roof you could see the paint falling off the roof and absolutely no ventilation very humid and muggy. I also noticed I did not see house keeping workers changing sheets/blankets while passing by other rooms. Usually you see the giant cart where they put soiled sheets right? We only saw a vacuum and a bucket with cleaner. So overall over priced for quality of hotel room, service was nice though.

Great rooms, bad customer service.

2 night business stay with a group of 5 and lots of luggage. Whilst the rooms were great, the customer service was poor. We had a couple of issues during our stay and the reception staff refused to help us over the phone saying they were ‘too busy with customers in the lobby’ - I had to pay to get a taxi across town to talk to them which took all of 1 minute to discuss upon arrival. We had advanced a large number of luggage bags to be stored overnight and this was my main reason for booking; on arrival they said it was against company policy to store them and it caused me a huge amount of stress. The lifts are very slow and often skip floors (allow 10mins to get downstairs), and the lobby has a heavy scented air freshener which we all found unpleasant. If it weren’t for the difficult staff, we’d stay here again.

Loved this hotel. Was a little hesitant about it at first since I felt like it wasn’t too close to the waterfront park of pike place market. What changed my mind tho is how nice the hotel is. The room we got was really spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly as well. Loved how we still got a nice view of the city so that was a plus for us. We ended up getting some coffee on their second floor and it was pretty great. For the price that I paid and the time we were there I will definitely consider booking here in the future and recommend this hotel to anyone else visiting Seattle.
