Nice Hotel, not worth the extra fees
My check in experience was excellent. Kiera was extremely friendly and answered all my questions. She was a joy to see and interact with during my stay. The hotel is very cute, however my room did have a lot of wear and tear that needs to be addressed. I was pleased with the Kitchenette. I was NOT happy with having to pay a $30 per day facility fee when all the facilities, the restaurants/lounge were not open and there wasn't a pool. Wi-Fi and water is NOT worth $30 per day. Also, be ready to spend $60 a day to park your car. They get away with this because there isn't any real street parking in the area. Had I known this, I would have not stayed here. Overall, I had a nice stay. I just wasn't happy with those extra fees.

Look elsewhere.
Hotel is still renovating. Bar and restaurant are not open for dinner. Only breakfast. Lobby ceiling still under renovation. Also they charged $30 early entry fee. The hotel was not close to being full. You would think they would accommodate customers for free to make them want to come back. Unfortunately they did not. So I’ll be going elsewhere next visit to DC.

It was okay for one night.
Fine for a one night stay. Cramped quarters and could be loud. Didn’t like the AC system, either you run it all night or turn off and get hot. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but we slept a little. Water was coming out the sides of the faucets. Felt old and run-down. Not close to metro, at least a 10min walk which was fine for us but sometimes consider.

Not sure what has happened here but it really isn’t what it sets itself up to be!! We got upgraded as our shower didn’t work but everything just seemed a little sad. We were emailed 2 days before arrival saying that their restaurant & bar was closed - this was a pretty major change as the area is not exactly a hive of activity.

The A/C didn't work very well so the room was hot. There was no mini-fridge which is inconvenient. Small room. Noisy. The restaurant was closed. The bed was pretty comfortable.

While very clean this hotel is very old and needs renovation. The rust on the vents was particularly disturbing. The staff is very nice.
