Awesome experience. Exactly as advertised and what you would expect out of a boutique hotel in SF

Triton
Everyone was helpful and went out of their way to help us in numerous questions. Hotel is situated in perfect location. Next to little China gates and short walk to union station. We actually walked to every tourist spot including pier 39 and Lombard!!!

Mother's Day in San Fran
The location is good as it was beside Chinatown and only 4 blocks from Market St. Hotel was clean and well presented in the room. I would definitely stay there again. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

All good ....except the 'resort fees'
The positive : The hotel is nicely renovated and modern, the service was friendly , the rooms were comfortable and the location was excellent ! Now the negatives: I was surprised with extra charges for 'resort fees' of $29.99/day that I learnt was in small letter in the hotels.com description of the hotel, I paid almost US $90 extra for the 3 nights I stayed there. This extra charges are unusual and even if it is my fault to do not paid attention to small letter in the add , I believe is more fair to have all fees included in the overall price , so you can compare fairly with other hotels. The hotel was good but for that price I will expect more 'resort -like ' services, e.g. a coffee maker in the room as well as ice or more than 2 bottles of water for 3 days.

Great place to stay!
Hotel was still being renovated and could not do stairs 😞 The only other negative was the shower area there was a hole in the glass apparently that's where you turn on the shower but it actually sprayed a lot of water outside the shower area using up a lot of towels to mop up excess amount of water. But got to say that our stay was very nice they had the reopening of the hotel after its renovation and we were included and that evening was very nice. The staff that cleaned our room did a great job the front staff were very nice the restaurant next to the hotel was very good. The location was awesome it was so close to everything you're right next to Chinatown you're right pretty much next to Union Square couple blocks away it was awesome. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good 6.0
The staff is nice, and the location is very convenient. The room is pretty small and can be very noisy if your room is on the street side. The price is very expensive, and it only provided in-room bottled water for the first night even though I was charged for resort fee for every night during my stay. There was renovation going on on another floor and I believe my room was newly renovated too, so there were obvious paint odors both inside and outside of the room.

Fine, but charged $ to drink the water
Hotel is okay. Sadly, any hotel that adds a “urban amenities fee” of $26 to drink the water and use the wi-if and elevator makes for a less than stellar experience. Why not include everything in the price? This means that they cannot compete and feel they have to add surcharges. I have stayed, pre-paid, at many hotels and not been assessed a “urban amenities fee”. This is a cash grab that most hotels do not partake in.

Best hotel in SF
I love this hotel! Britt at the front desk is such a gem, and is always so nice when I stay here. Love the free happy hour, the macarons they give are you die for! Seriously the best I’ve had in the states. Love the free coffee/tea station in the morning. The location can’t be beat, literally steps away from the heart of China Town. I love that they are dog friendly and don’t charge an extra fee! My dog loves staying here. This is my preferred hotel when I stay in the city!!
