Poor communication, Beware 2 night minimum stay
I tried to cancel the 2nd of 2 nights. Upon calling to confirm my reservation, i was told I could do so if I do it before check in, and for a $50 fee (which isn’t great, but is understandable). So on the day of, before check-in, i called the hotel. They said I have to do it through Hotels.com, since I booked through them. Through hotels.com eventually it came out that i couldn’t cancel because of a “2 night minimum stay” per Waypoint’s General Manager that NO ONE mentioned up to that point. By then i was so frustrated. They should have told me that from the start and saved my time & energy. So disappointed in that whole interaction.
