Excellent view right out the front of the hostel. St. Giles' Cathedral is stunning. The access to the Royal Mile is unparalleled. Great place to stay. Only complaint is that some of the other residents were a little loud sometimes, but the staff were always awesome. Enjoyed my long stay immensely.

Better not be too tall, but great all round
Great place to stay. Location is super great, staff were lovely, bathrooms are all super modern. The rooms themselves are great - the door closing could be quieter..! But your bag is able to be stored in a big locker which is fab, and the pods themselves are cool I’m 6”5 so my ankles stuck out the end of the pod. I’d say if you’re over 6”2, this will be the case for you.. but that’s ok, I’m used to not fitting in things. The bed and bedding was comfy, and at no point did I feel claustrophobic! One of the usb charger ports wasn’t working which was sad but the other was so not the end of the world. A good night’s sleep to be fair - much better than any hostel experience I’ve had before.
