My wife and I stayed one night in celebration of Valentines Day.The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was a little too firm and the pillows were too soft. The front desk staff was friendly and also answered any questions I had. After checking in, my wife and I ate at the Le Court restaurant. The food was great but our waiter took a while to come back to our table after we finished our food. We sat for quite some time waiting before we were able to pay for the bill. Later on that evening we wanted to eat at the Tonga room. When we went there around 8pm. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait but the hostess told us that we can only get drinks because the kitchen will be closing in an hour so it would be too late for us to eat. Upon entering, the Tonga Room was so crowded, we couldn't even get a drink at the bar. Too many people. So we left and didn't get to enjoy the restaurant. They were still letting people in, only to find out that they were getting turned away too. Overall, our stay was satisfactory.

A nice stay in a historical hotel!
We had a nice 2-night stay in this historic hotel. Check-in was smooth and the staff were very courteous. We were assigned to one of the rooms in the older part of the hotel, the place was very grand. But there was some smoke smells in the room. I called the front desk and they immediately transferred us to another room in the new, tower part of the hotel. Eldrige was the bellman who accompanied us and he pointed out the historical photos and areas of the hotel. The stay overall was very enjoyable. The views of the city are impressive and the location of the hotel made it easy to walk to many of the locations we wanted to visit.
