Great location, friendly staff
Great location + friendly staff. That's all we ask for on our family vacations. We showed up pretty early (9am), so our room wasn't ready but they held our bags and we started exploring. They texted me a couple of hours later when our room was ready. Breakfast was pretty good with nice fresh omelet station. We also got complimentary Clam Chowder... nice touch! Room was clean and comfortable with a view of the Massachusetts State House. PLENTY of attractions within walking distance as well as food options. Also there's two Metro stations nearby.

Excellent & Safe Location!
We had a very pleasant stay at the Boston downtown Hyatt Regency. It’s located in an excellent location. It’s within a walking distance to all major touristic sites, Boston Common, The Freedom Trail, Chinatown, Financial district & right in the heart of the Theater District. Our double Queen room is spacious & clean. The bedding is extremely comfortable. We had a short stay & did not use Hyatt facilities much.

Great hotel in a great downtown Boston location
We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel and in Boston. The hotel was very close to Boston Common and walkable to other area attractions we were interested in. As I learned, Boston is very reliant on public transportation and the hotel is close to several different subway/bus stops. We thought the hotel was very clean. We were there for 5 nights and they told us at check in that they normally would just have housekeeping on the 4th day, but we opted to have it more often and they did a very nice job. I would most certainly stay at this hotel again in the future.
