Disappointed in Florida
The facility was over priced for the room condition. The double bed turned out to be a bunk bed with one of the ladder steps broken almost all the way through. The freezer had no ice making capacity, not even an ice tray. I had to show guests how to use a rock to turn on the foot wash at the beach shower. For the amount I spent I could have rented a private island in Fiji. The trip was for my wife who is suffering with stage IV cancer and wanted to be directly on the beach otherwise we would have gone to a REAL Beach Resort for half of the cost.

The room we got was not the one that was sent to us prior to check in. The staff made a lame excuse about the computer not catching up with the registration. The room we were first told we received remained empty for almost the whole time we were there. Seemed quite fishy and not great customer service. The rooms are in sad repair, cupboards smell of damp wood, paint chipped, tiles on the floor chipped. The layout is such that the neighbors coming and going was very loud in our room. Kids bounced basketballs outside on the patio constantly. It was nice to have a room that looked out to the ocean and was easy to access the beach. The beach was wonderful, chairs and umbrellas easy to use whenever we wanted. Red tide put an abrupt end to the beach fun and had everybody coughing.

Unit 24: Safe and a light weren't working properly upon arrival. Custodian came right away to fix. This unit had a microwave but no stove. Housekeeping came daily and did a fine job. Loved the location on the beach. Pool and outside area were very nice. The lounge was a large welcoming area. Would stay there again.
