Don't go to this hotel
Geesus...This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The light in the room is dim. The washroom is so small that it is separate from the washing tank & mirror. The air conditioning is so noisy that you cannot sleep while it is turned on. I don't want to make any more comment about that night. Nightmare!

Clean hotel
Junior executive suite is a very small room. The stays was pleasant. There was an extra unexpected $15 US + taxes for facility fees (not optional). We liked the location because it was near many attractions. Older renovated hotel. Some renovations like the general room was pretty good but the quality of the bathroom renovation was questionable but very clean. For downtown SF I would stay there again.

Very average spot
If you are looking for a tiny space with no view at all, this is the place. When we were there one if the two elevators was out of service the entire four day stay. Construction mess was apparent, though not excessive. The staff was good, the room was clean, but for the price, somewhat disappointing. We would look elsewhere another time.

Under construction ... other than that it's great
Great stay, central location in union square with a short walk to everything. As of July 3 the hotel is under construction, luckily we didn't get a room right near it but many others were not so lucky. Over priced, but so is everything else in San Francisco. Look at the bright side, you get a free shot between 5-6:30pm... What a win! 20min walk to Fishermans Warf. 2 min walk to everything in Union Square. Bring comfy shoes and don't let your "significant" other trick you into walking the Golden Gate Bridge from the hotel. Lastly, the homeless people aren't that bad as other posts may lead you to believe. They are actually some of the friendlier homeless I've encountered in my travels and those who speak negatively need to escape their cubby holes more often... there is a big ol' world out there Bobbi-Jo and Billy-Ray. Sincerely, Your friendly Canadian.
