Disappointing
Hotel room seemed outdated and dirty. There were stains on multiple surfaces in the room. Additionally we stayed in a suite in order for my son to be able to sleep on the sofa bed, but when we asked for bedding they didn't have blankets they only had sheets. Not sure how a giant hotel could not have an extra blanket.

Ok ok… needs to be renovated
When you go to a Fairmont you expect a certain standard… we’ve stayed at the Fairmont Chicago before and so went back, but this hotel is beat up, and for the price we paid, it was a little disappointing. Wall paper peeling off, cracks in the shower.. scuff marks.. simple things. Also, this hotel is tight… not much space and so feels very crowded. It was nice of them to send a complimentary plate of birthday dessert for my husband.. bed was comfortable and better than other hotels we’ve recently stayed at.

safe is a concern in this hotel for young ladies.
i’m shocked at the safety and security issues at the fairmont. i was accosted by the front doorman 3 times hitting on me at around 12:30 pm sunday and felt extremely uncomfortable. despite telling him i’m not interested he kept pursuing me.
