Top notch hotel, wonderful location
This is probably the most beautiful hotel in Oaxaca City. It is a stunningly renovated convent with much of the original architecture preserved. Service and amenities are impeccable. Staff are overwhelmingly kind and professional. The location is superb, in the middle of the old town action while also a serene escape from heat and noise. Oaxaca City is magnificent but this hotel would be worth a visit on its own anywhere.

Charming hotel in a great location
Located in an old convent, Qunita Real is truly charming with rooms set around stunning courtyards. The location, too, is great, within easy walking distance of all major sites and wonderful restaurants. The rooms are large, well furnished, clean and comfortable, and the staff is very eager to please. Highly recommended.

The property is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is very attentive and efficient in addressing the requirements of the guests and the planning of large-scale events. The location is perfect! It seems that the size of the rooms varies a lot, from a small and fairly cramped second floor double to a much more gracious room on the ground floor. If I were to stay here again, I would do more research into the room types at the time of booking. Otherwise, Quinta Real is a wonderful introduction to the gracious city of Oaxaca.

Well located. Beautiful pool area. Rooms ok. Beds quite hard. Often we had no hot water. I gave concierge 200 pesos to help set up a tour for us and I never heard one word back about it. I requested an early ride to the airport and was specific about NO VAN and got a van. Was frustrating.
