Great Stay
Very clean and well maintained facility. The hotel building was constructed in 1883 and the interior retains some of the charm. The hotel cafe is open 24 hours and offers a small but very satisfactory menu.

Helpful staff and spotless rooms!
Hotel staff were very helpful combining our two reservations for two nights into one reservation. The more inexpensive room was unavailable for two nights and they gave us an upgraded room at the same price as the least expensive option. Scott at the front desk provided smooth check-in and helped us bring 6 large pieces of luggage inside. The hotel room was spotless and the space was large!

Some good , some bad
Our first night ( 9/11/23), was soured by our arrival. The front desk woman was was very terse and uninviting. No welcome and minimal advice. I was disappointed that parking was on the street and she said the website hasn’t been updated since 2019. The staff was much friendlier the following 2days, but our room was never cleaned during our stay

I loved everything about Harlow Hotel ! I loved the building , the location and my room. The staff was super nice and knowledgeable about the building when I asked. They also went out of their way to take time for any questions and made sure I was comfortable during my stay. Highly recommend!!!

I will not stay here again.
My experience here is not very positive. I made my reservation with Hotels.com. I arrived at night at the hotel. They had no record of my reservation. I showed the desk clerk my confirmation. He made many calls. Told me there was no reservation. I was stuck paying twice as much as my Hotels.com reservation. It took a half hour to get a room. The room was poorly cleaned the next day. I actually made the bed. The location is ok if you know Portland as I lived there during medical school but it might be challenging to visitors. The experience was not as good as it should have been. Oh yes. The toilet seat was barely attached to the toilet. Nice touch.
