Harveys Resort & Casino, Stateline
4-star resort with 5 restaurants, near Heavenly Gondola
- Free WiFi in lobby and free parking
Don’t like automated checkin vs personal sign in . It’s like a self serve kiosk at Home…
All the staff I meet were helpful and friendly. For my first there I enjoyed my stay.

I stay in hotels about 50% of the year. This room was clean at eye level. The carpets throughout the hotel were dirty, hallways, hotel room and casino. The metal strips around the lights were rusty. The shower tiles were chipped and broken. The shower facet was less than impressive, they used a bathtub facet where the shower facet is to be installed and then screwed a shower facet to it - very tacky, the ceiling fans needed cleaning - looked liked they haven't been cleaned in months - full of dust. Although the area is great and close to the beach, there are other hotels in the same area that look much better than this hotel. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Really nice room. It had everything that I needed. Comfortable bed. I couldn’t figure out how to call the front desk and ask a question. No direct person to talk to, a long message to listen to. Really liked the spa facility.

Please don’t stay here... I want my money back
The room are not clean! We found hair in the bathrooms (yes plural! Because we had to change rooms and both were dirty!), the bathrooms smelt like mold, the floor didn’t look like it had been vacuumed, the hallways were disgustingly dirty, the room was dusty all over, there were holes in the sheets, the furniture looks cheap, old, and beat up! Overall awful experience and the customer service was below subpar standards. Had to move from my original dirty room to another dirty room that they claimed to have cleaned, but when again I told them it wasn’t, they told me that they were all full and couldn’t move me again. So they asked us to leave the room for 30-40 minutes (at 9pm at night after a long drive and day of skiing) so that they could send up a crew to clean it. Yet after and hour, they never sent anyone up to clean and decided that they would justify this by giving us a $75 credit that we could only use at the restaurants and gift shop (when it was already 10pm at night and we had already eaten and the gift shops were closing and we planned on leaving in the morning). So... please don’t stay here!

Probably wouldn’t go back.
Overall the experience was horrible. We parked in the parking garage on the third floor but couldn’t get access to the lobby with our stroller. There were no ramps just stairs. Asked an employee for help but he didn’t know much at all. Ended up having to go all the way down and walk around just to check in. The room itself was dirty. Not what I expected at all for the price we paid. Lights weren’t working, there was a used loofah in the bathroom. Everything had dust on it. There was only one working outlet. However there was one good thing; the convenience of being able to go downstairs and grab food and drinks without having to leave the hotel.

Old, dark, dingy
Great location, but tired dingy and dark rooms. Like other casinos, they charge a ridiculous RESORT fee.... So don't forget to add that to the room rate. Stay at the Hard Rock instead.

Parking is far away, it’s hard to find the way from parking to hotel, some asian mid age security lady inside the gambling room was rude when i asked how to go to parking structure, the room is old & dirty, the room smell cigarette.
