Manor View Guest House, Whitby

We had an excellent 1 night stay here. We were in the double room and it was spacious, very clean and a modern ensuite. There was drink making facilities and a generous amount of biscuits in the room. The host was very pleasant and accomodating. A real benefit is the off street parking at the back, at a time when parking is difficult and expensive in Whitby! The breakfast was very good too. The buffet was self service and had 4 types of cereal, yoghurts, fruit juices, bananas, apples, oranges, pain au raisins, toast with jam and croissants. Very nice and filling. We will be back again for sure.

Only continental breakfast available . Breakfast facilities on second floor landing. Beadroom door locks loose . Limited parking available. pay at the property on arrival. Overpriced for quality of rooms. Only 10 minutes walk to center.

We stayed here as it was walking distance from the venue for a wedding we were attending. We booked it three nights before so only the bunk bed room was available, but it was fine for us as we were out all day long and then had to be back early the next morning! Lorraine was extremely helpful - we asked if early check in could be facilitated and she did! We were running extremely late after travelling down and Lorraine very very quickly checked us in as I was half-sprinting through the house to get to the wedding in time. The complimentary breakfast was perfect for us - cereals, juices, pastries, toast.
