Cleanliness, location and staff were amazing. Beautiful hotel, superb customer service. However, the food options are extremely costly and overly expensive.

Five Stars.
This was hands down one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. The property is both conveniently located and beautiful. The staff are some of the most wonderful and hospitable people I’ve ever experienced. We also encountered an unfortunate medical issue while there and the staff went above and beyond. I will never stay anywhere else in Tokyo.

Solid, slightly old-fashioned (in a good way) hotel with impeccable service. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious for Japan.

Enjoyable stay at the Imperial Hotel
This hotel is huge so quite long walking between the different areas. Only one buffet restaurant for a Western/Japanese breakfast and it was very popular as the selection of food was excellent. But on two of our mornings there there was a long queue to get in - twenty five minutes at 9am and twenty when we arrived at 7.30. Not what one would expect of a luxury hotel. Very good location for the shops and restaurants in Ginza.

Perfect location for maximum Tokyo
The service is impeccable at this Tokyo institution. From when you arrive to when you checkout - providing excellent service is at the forefront. Everyone from the doorperson to the housekeeper speaks English. If your Japanese is rusty - have no fear! The location is central and cannot be beat! With Ginza at the back and Hibiya Park in the front - there is something for everyone! The hotel is located within blocks of several subway lines, including JR station. The only “complaint” - the breakfast buffet. Wish it had more options and they do warn it is very busy on Sundays.
