Poor 2.0
Don't stay at this hotel if you can avoid it.
This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. With the exception of the bellhop the people were not friendly, they sprayed us with some chemical that I have no idea what it was and their food was horrible with few options. We had to travel to Mexico for emergency dental work. We had started the dental worked in Cartagena prior to the start of the pandemic and could not get back to complete the work due to travel restrictions and fear of contracting COVID 19. So we had to go to Mexico to complete the work and limiting our exposure while there was paramount. We wanted a hotel where we would only need to go to the dentist and back to the hotel. So the fact that their food was terrible was very disappointing. It was also extremely over priced and, if you are there for dental work, they didn't have much choices for food. I also paid an extra $23 a night for breakfast ($11.50 per person). I advice that if you do stay here, you do not pay extra for breakfast. They won't let you pick off the breakfast menu. I couldn't believe it. The most expensive item on the menu cost $189 pesos ($8.99 US). Despite the fact that they charged me $11.50 per person for breakfast (more than the most expensive item), we couldn't chose off the breakfast menu. When I objected they treated me like I was trying to steal from them. Instead they served us runny beans and eggs. It did include potatoes and a couple pieces of meat. We checked out. We will never stay ever stay at this hotel again. Ever.

Poor 2.0
Awful service and dangerously broken doors
I asked the hotel to revise my stay to the next night, they said great no problem. They emailed me said, “see you tomorrow.” I get there they refuse to acknowledge and want to bill me 2 nights at a higher rate. The stay before very rude and the bathroom door was broken so my date was locked inside. If anyone was to stay there alone they would be trapped inside all night and all morning in a bathroom. They do not maintain their rooms well at all. Broken handles on faucets. I’ve stayed there 5 times. One stay the entire bed was covered in the previous guests stay, woman’s hair everywhere during a pandemic.

Always clean and friendly staff
Our stay at Quartz is always pleasant. This is our second time staying here. It is very clean and the staff is friendly, especially, Antonio. His guest service makes you want to come back to Quartz. A lot of hotels offer same amenities but guest services is what makes the difference.

org hotel
Excellent customer service, very friendly staff, and a gorgeous building with all the amenities one could need; the only thing that I dislike is that although you are guest, they charge the parking

Food service sucks when using coupons
They offer breakfast coupons for 4 people with your stay but then give you only for adults once your there. Waiters offer horrible service when you use those coupons to eat.

Lovely but Lacking
Every thing was great except that the pool was cold and the jacuzzi was not really working - almost no heat and the jets weren’t on so that was disappointing. A little too modern - it was annoying having use the key for the elevator and the restaurant setup and food selection was less than exciting but other than those few minor inconveniences, the facility is beautiful and the service is OUTSTANDING!!!

Poor 2.0
Nice building , but horrible service and not clean
This hotel advertised parking to be part of the reservation. Upon arrival , the parking attendants seemed to hustle us for cash payments on 2 vehicles . I notified front desk , and they said they had no control over the parking situation . I don’t mind paying for parking , but at the same time , I don’t like being lied to . I arrived into the room , it had a tag on the door saying that the room had be sanitized. HOWEVER, the TV guide had scribbles all over it from the previous guests and the windows had hand prints all over it from children who were in the room prior. When it came to their restaurant, I was seated by a server. Once seated, I waited approx 20 mins before anyone even gave me a menu. I had to flag someone down. After I ordered my meal, I received the meal, they forgot about my drink, and I received the drink toward the end of the meal. The hotel looks nice, the front desk people were kind, but over all , there is a lot of incompetence and bad service here. Not to mention the shady ness going on in the parking lot. I reached out to hotel directly to share my situation, but I just received a generic response , therefor I am now leaving this negative review.
