No sleep! No privacy! Big hassle!
Warning: There is a lot you should know before booking here... The room is located above busy train tracks and has no soundproof windows. You will hear train whistles all night long. After booking and fully paying for this this non-refundable “hotel” then the fun begins. You will immediately be bombadarded with pushy emails demanding you do the following (no exceptions!) in order to get instructions to pick up a key: 1. Be subjected to a full background check, 2. Sign an 8-page lease agreement as if you were to live here for a year or more, 3. Send a copy of your passport or drivers license to unfamiliar email for the internet to have forever. The hassles/invasion of privacy in order to spend a night in this urban apartment are awkward, excessive, and unlike anything I’ve experienced in 30 years. It’s actually a corporate apartment that has no business being advertised on Expedia or hotels.com. It took hours to get the confusing instructions to pick up the key for one simple night’s stay - even though we had paid in full in advance. And if you need more than one key for your room, forget about it! You and your traveling party must stay together at all times to get in the building, lobby, or elevator. Upshot: If you value a night’s sleep without constant train whistles or if you value your personal on-line privacy, find another place to stay. For us, the hassles were a complete distraction from what should have been a simple night’s stay.
