Disappointing experience
Clean but hotel staff are not very helpful and expect to wait 1-2 hours for help as their customer service area is always packed. Couldn’t figure out parking, not a single person had an answer and just told me it was a 3rd party thing. Website wouldn’t work, we tried it on 3 different phones. I do not recommend as well they have hidden fees and are not very clear about their deposit situation. I do not recommend and will not be back.

DIRTY & NASTY!!!!!!
This hotel is old and it shows. It seems like they are remodeling, but wondering if they ran outnor money becuase i didn't see any work going on. Remodeling has taken place on floors up to 8. The old rooms are DARK, DIRTY, AND DINGY! The towels look dated. We stayed in a suite and the colors are very dark, yellow bulbs are used and the lighting is very limited on top of already being dark. It is obvious by the attached pictures, they do not clean/dust often. I stayed here because the conference I was attending was being held here, but next year, I'll stay elsewhere.

The lower price isn't worth it
My husband and I stayed at the Strat at the end of my business trip. It was mainly selected due to price. The hotel is aged and needs some updates. The location is not the greatest but worked for the purpose we had. We found ourselves driving to other hotels more than we anticipated. The sports bar did not have good service and was hard to sit without having smoke disturb our allergies. If these two areas were better, we would have stayed in our own hotel more. Also had to pay for parking which wasn't preferred. Other hotels like Mirage and Treasure Island had free parking. This would have been factors to the price.
