    Perfect location to walk from as a tourist. Loved the friendly staff and their English language skills. I know this is standard in Europe but I'll never stop being grateful that others make up for my language deficits (unilingual) without seeming in any way resentful that it's always them having to accommodate me!

    We stayed on the second floor of the hotel and I am pleased to say that we couldn't hear noise pollution. The location of the hotel is awesome - walkable distance to any destination in the heart of Amsterdam and subway station nearby. The rooms are cozy, very clean, and well-designed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have a pleasant stay in Amsterdam.

    Clean, but not worth the price.

    My husband and I arrived early so our room wasn’t ready yet, which is fine. We were told, however, that a “Premium” room was available but it would cost us 30 Euros per night for the “larger much nicer” room. We had to take two elevators to our upgraded room which wasn’t that large or all that nice for the huge amount of money we paid. We took a peek into some other rooms that were being cleaned and they were much bigger and seemed a lot nicer that what we were sold. Also, the A/C worked, but not well at all. But it was clean and the breakfast was quite good.
