A great spring board to explore Minneapolis!
My wife and I took a trip to Minneapolis for a long weekend, and the Moxy Downtown was a fantastic spring board for exploring the city. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. At check-in we were given 2 tokens for a free drink (draft beer, draft wine, or their signature cocktail). The parking was attached to the hotel and super easy to use. This is definitely a hip, urban hotel, with a focus on stylish design and efficient use of space. The room was not huge, but had plenty of room for us, and it was clean an comfortable. It might not be a good room for a couple with kids, but for a couple or individual in town to explore, the room is plenty large. The only 2 complaints I have are (1) that the shower didn't have great water pressure (though I imagine this is by design to save water) and (2) the bath towels are not very large (this seems to be the same at all hotels, can we get something more than a dish towel, please?). Aside from these very minor complaints, I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. The location was fantastic, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was well designed, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Moxy again!

Very Good 8.0
Great location, right across the street from the US Bank Stadium! The hotel is fairly new,and very trendy. Employees were a bit rude at times only because I felt they were understaffed for all the events going on this weekend. Pros: Location, quite at night, cleanliness, provide quality hand soap, body soap, shampoo and steam press, provide small toiletries you may have forgotten, towels are soft and large, wonderful window view, indoor/outdoor seating areas, bar, self-parking lot, complimentary skittles and cheddar fish in the lobby. Cons: Rooms are small and basic, toilets seats are square (still dont understand that), community iron, no closet, check in /concierge desk is shared with bar counter, no extra pillows or blankets for loft bed (another odd addition). The hotel hosted a big party on Saturday night, which was fantastic and everyone was dressed classy, but it consumed the whole bar area, which was the check in desk also. Other hotel patrons were a bit fustrated since all 5 employees working the desk was working the party of 100+ people. Poor planning. Sunday was a football game, same situation. They need to train their staff for large groups and let ask them to be patient, when I arrived at the counter Monday morning to check out, the employee acted as if I was bothering her. Hopefully they get the kinks worked out.

Nice Rounded Hotel
Great location. Nice upbeat hotel. Our King Room was pretty small though. Hardly any amenities in the rooms. Beds were very soft. Sheets, blankets and pillows were not the comfiest. 95% of staff was nice and helpful. Got vouchers for a free drink at the hotel bar. Overall nice place to stay. Price was pretty good for location. Close to everything in downtown. Would stay here again.
