We stayed on Sunday (1st March), the first room n0 217 was very poor. It smelt of sick and we’re some brown patches on the carpet. We requested to change the room and were given another room ( n0 317), it looked outdated, didn’t have teas or coffees , we needed to ask for some at the reception. Very poor experience

A well located hotel but room and corridors were quite tired. Did not like the layout of having a separate toilet with no wash basin. Not very hygenic! Other than that, the staff were good

Average experience
Rooms I feel are very dated and not in keeping with what you expect when you walk into entrance of hotel. Had to move rooms due to TV not working and moved to a room where only 2 stations worked on that TV. For the money very over priced. Needs money spending on rooms to bring up to date with the entrance area.

Clean and friendly 😊
It's was a clean comfortable hotel with freindly helpful staff, the breakfast was well presented with plenty of choice.

has secure parking
We stayed as it had secure parking. The rooms need to be updated, painted and bathrooms grout to be freshened up. The towels were really hard and small, if they were to invest in some soft towels that would make a huge difference.

Exceptional 10.0
Would highly recommend it, located centrally. The hotel is clean with a very friendly service.

Only 1 small moan was that checking out was 12 noon and housekeeping knocked the door twice and approached us in corridor at 10.30am to ask us if we were leaving. I mentioned it at front desk and the lady there apologised a plenty. Other than that good value for money, customer service and a pleasant overnight stay

Christmas Market Hotel
Location to the Christmas market was good and close to all the restaurants and sites. To note, this is NOT a family friendly hotel, the room faced Broad Street which in the late evenings the noise from the street with clubbers and any sirens was very load within the room. The website also did not make it clear that the parking onsite is charged and not part of the service, at £18 per 24hrs is not the cheapest in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel feels dated and not as fresh as a Premier Inn.

Good even though we couldn’t use bar with our daughter as she wasn’t staying at the hotel due to security issues.
