The place was clean and quiet. Like all college towns, the emphasis on the bar scene was evident as was the urine/vomit odor in the parking lot. The place was about 30% above NYC prices but was in the heart of historic Annapolis so worth it for me this particular weekend. They also touted a decent restaurant but I was disappointed that the OK food was cooked to order but no actual wait staff. You order from the limited menu at the cafe and kitchen staff bring you your food. I should not have left a 20% advanced tip since there is no actual person servicing me directly. No fresh fruit juice. Only bottled, high fructose crap. The decor screamed Navy but went WAY overboard to the point that it resembled an 8 year-old’s bedroom. No rhyme or reason. Just boats, life preservers, anchors, and moring line everywhere. This may be an Annapolis thing but they put overly salted Old Bay on everything whether you request it or not. It was all over the frozen “hash browns” that made them inedible. Still, the staff were friendly, the parking safe and the place was clean aside from my box of tissues in the bathroom were soggy. Yeah. The entire box. I don’t even want to know what happened. The safe was not attached and, therefore useless.
