No luggage in the lobby

Only negative was there was a lady who had left her luggage in the lobby and she was told for over 20 minutes she could not leave it there. The clerk and her went back and forth until I said I need to check in I have somewhere to be. My room was already paid for the lady wasn’t a guest so it got irritating
