Event night out
Went to Victoria for a concert at the Royal Theatre. The hotel is a great location for many restaurants, shopping, and events. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are super cute, comfortable and spacious. Will definitely stay there again.

Cheap hotel accommodations in downtown area
I was looking for a relatively cheap place to stay in Victoria for a conference. The Bedford came up and the price was reasonable. It has a good location for downtown Victoria. My concern was why is it this cheap, is anything wrong? The answer is that the hotel is somewhat old. The amenities aren’t as modern as you would get elsewhere. But if you’re not bothered by that, it’s a good place to stay.

Very cool, and affordable
One of the coolest old hotels. Well maintained, comfortable and clean. I want to stay there again.

Great location, but bed uncomfortable + no WiFi
The location of this place is fantastic, and we've stayed here once in the past. However, this time around there was a huge issue with the WiFi (after years in tech support, I'm assuming it was just a WiFi extender that needed to be power-cycled). The bed was really bouncy and not-so-comfortable, but Garrick's Head Pub is downstairs and there's so much food around that it kind of makes up for most of it. I went down to the front desk and explained the WiFi issue but they said "It's working for me". So we ended up connecting to another network of The Churchill next door which had poor reception being inside the hotel. Either way, we might not stay here next time as we like our bed to be comfortable, and want to be able to use Google Maps to see where we'd want to visit.

Alright y’all. When you consider the age of the hotel, the state is not too shabby.
