Steet Noise
The hotel staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel was nice and clean, what we expected for an old restored type building. We were in the corner room on the second floor and the street noise was ridiculous. We could not sleep with all of the yelling and racing cars ect... the management needs to seriously consider noise proofing the lower level rooms at this hotel, we will not be coming back.

Friendly staff, nightlife, centrally located
Stayed here for one night (a Saturday) and it was perfectly fine. I parked a car and the valet service was good. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. They let me have access to the rooftop while I waited for my room to be ready. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. It is loud on the weekends — it’s in the heart of the nightlife. But it’s very quiet shortly after 2:00am. Unfortunately it’s expensive to visit San Diego, so the price is good (and maybe on the cheaper end) for the quality of the hotel.
