Take it or leave it.
Booked a 2 Queen suite. Upon check in told the room I reserved was no longer available and was given a king suite (we were a party of 5). Told it was all they had - take it or leave it. Restaurant at hotel was closed. Charged $75 to park my car. All the things that could have made this hotel great were just not there, but when you arrive in Atlanta I guess it’s take or leave it.

Excellent stay!
Our stay was quick and easy but the staff made it wonderful. The gentlemen helping at the valet were great and friendly. They interacted with our kids in a welcoming and happy way. The kitchen staff absolutely crushed a crazy busy breakfast both mornings we were there. The food was great and kept coming to keep up with the crowd. They also walked around the dining area, interacting with everyone in a friendly and helpful way. One lady even came and convinced my shy son to come with her to check out their massive fish tank. Front desk staff were great and efficient during check in. Online check out option was convenient when leaving. My only criticism, if I had to pick something, is that the beds are too pillow top soft. I slept pretty uncomfortably every night because of it but I do realize that it's probably impossible to match everyone's sleeping preference.

Great stay for a little work and play!
The Hyatt Place was conveniently located and in walking distance to many restaurants and city attractions. It was a quick and easy walk to the Georgia World Congress Center where I attended a conference. I was able to eat a hot breakfast at the hotel every morning. My room was clean and spacious: king bed with a desk and sectional, pull-out sofa. All of the staff were courteous and helpful, especially Sytara, who took the time to offer restaurant suggestions and give me directions. This place is on my short list for places to stay the next time I am in town.

Easy walk to GA Aquarium and excellent breakfast!
Really liked this place. Breakfast was superb, each day (3). Beds were comfortable, though would prefer full sized pillows rather than minis. Shower was excellent. Staff were all great. Wifi worked well, but it was unprotected which seemed quite odd, so we didn't use it for anything private. Very easy walk to the GA Aquarium and other nearby attractions. Parking was pricy (to us) at $55/day. Only real caution was on our checkout morning (Saturday), just one elevator was working consistently for customers, meaning there was quite the backup for folks who wanted to leave. Some opted to use the stairs, but with luggage, this wasn't easy. It took 15 minutes (perhaps a little more) to go from the 6th floor to the ground before catching an Uber to the airport. Would we stay again? Probably - breakfast and staff were terrific - but I'd probably still look at other close options too due to the pillows, Wifi, and elevator concern.
