Concert that woke me up at 12:30am.
The hotel was nice and clean. Service was good but there was a concert I'm not sure where but I could hear it. The thud of the base and all made it so difficult to fall back asleep and this was going on at 12:30 am and it finally quieted down at 1:30am.

Not as good this time.
We come to Vegas 2-3 times per year for an average of 5 days per visit and have stayed at the Downtown Grand every time for the past 4-5 years. We just returned and we're disappointed with our stay for the first time....We stayed Sunday to Saturday and on day three the Satellite TV went out and never came back on. I realize you don't spend a ton of time in your room in Vegas but after a LV kind of day, you sometimes want to kick back and watch a little TV before bed or after you get up in the AM. Called a couple of times and the front desk was not helpful in the least...."There is no update on the TV service" is all they would say.....It's 2019 and this is a modern hotel/casino, they would know what was going on the hour after it happened. Also, funny that all the TV's were certainly working fine right downstairs in the casino sports book and in the bars. Anyway, Vegas was fun as always but we'll weigh our options for accommodations next time I think.

Business trip
We were on a business trip attending a conference. I found the amenities pricey and was surprised to pay over $6 for an orange juice. The property is huge and you have to add considerable walking time to any of your appointments.

Not a 4 Star Hotel and Rooms To Be Renovated
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in late March. The staffs were friendly and professional but the room needs to be renovated again. The shower head was designed for someone over 180 cm tall and the chair needs to be replaced was just 2 examples. It seems the promotion pictures of the room in the were taken 6 years ago after being renovated. I was surprised I was charged $1 a bag by the Bellman for baggage storage, from the storage room to the door was less than 5 meters, the fees didn't include the tips, and the baggage was in the storage room for about 6 hours. I paid $25.99 a night for resort fees and I was surprised the baggage storage wasn't covered. I stayed in numerous of 4 star hotels in Asia during the month and I wasn't charge baggage storage fees when I left my baggage in the storage room. Last year in Hong Kong, I was charged a nominal storage fees in a 4 star hotel as I left my baggage in the storage room for 24 hours not 6 hours. The last time I was in Vegas I stayed at the Gold Coast Hotel and I wasn't charged for the baggage storage fees when I left my baggage in the storage room. The hotel should be transparent about the resort fees not including the baggage storage fees. For an example a family of 5 with 2 baggage each, $25.99 for the resort fees a night and if they leave the 10 bags ($10 not including tips) in the storage room. It can be an expensive experience. Therefore, I gave the service 2 out 5 stars but the staffs were excellent.

Hotel was great, food was good and pool was amazing; however, outside music made sleeping difficult. To be expected by Fremont though!
