Teeny tiny print at bottom of page mentions $30/day “RESORT FEE”. Other hotels just as nice without crap like this. (Goes along with homeless sleeping outside hotel and poop on the sidewalk 40 feet away.)

Good relative price for a place to stay in SF
The service was excellent. The front desk staff were kind, flexible and easy-going. They were highly informative on what was around and things to do in San Fransisco. The area was good but if you are a light-sleeper, bring earplugs as the walls are not sound-proof and it could get noisy.

The hotel was good but you must use valet parking, that adds up a lot to the price. Also lots of homeless on the street near by the hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The check in experience was curt but beyond that the staff was friendly and helpful. Place was good and appreciated the valet parking. Had issues with the radiator so my room was a little chilly.

stylish hotel, fantastic staff, ROUGH area
This hotel is a new and very charmingly done little boutique hotel in an old building. Lots of great things about it. BUT (and this is a big BUT) people should be aware that this in the Tenderloin neighborhood. It is historically a very, very rough neighborhood with lots of crime and homelessness. Though it is has gotten a little less rough in the past few years (mostly because of gentrifying businesses like this one), it is still pretty rough. This will not bother a lot of people who may be interested in seeing the extreme social and economic disparity that San Fran embodies the moment. But it WILL bother a lot of other people.
