Good, But Not Great
Stayed 4 nights for a business conference. Have a mixed experience.
Bad:
- Not clean. Long female hair in the shower. I'm a bold guy, have an alibi. Sugar ants on the desk.
- Not comfortable. Can only speak for my room and it was in a corner, so likely different from the others, but this is my review of my experience.
Bathroom - you actually have to get up from the toilet to reach toilet paper. If you are a guy and do your business standing up - just forget it.
Room itself - lacked a nightstand, although there was space for it on one side. After a request a smallish table was provided.
A single light switch located next to the entrance, have to walk through the room in the dark to get to bed.
TV had Apple TV, but no Apple TV services. No way to adjust the pale colors in the settings and pretty poor interface.
Service - wanted a coffee at 9 am, but the bartender/barista was not there yet.
Now the good:
Very nice and friendly staff. Pre-covid service feeling
Great location 10 minutes walk to the Convention Center and a city parking across the street. 20 min walk to the Lincoln Road restaurants.
Decent value price wise for Miami Beach
Good design, especially for an old building, and nice vibe. Maybe a bit too much on the lobby fragrance.
The pool is tiny, but it has a pool.
Would probably stay again if there is a good price. With price similar to other hotels near by, would choose something else.
