Doubletree Docklands
The hotel can use some upgrading, but it was ok. We are a family of five so they gave us two queens and a pull out sofabed, however, the mattress of the pull-out was in such poor condition that we needed to request a new one. My son, who is very light (56lbs) found it uncomfortable to sleep on. We stayed a total of 8 days and out of the 8, we needed to contact reception three times (not major issues), but not once did they pick up. On each occassion, we tried to contact them several times before my husband physically went downstairs to get help. The restaurant attached to the hotel is understaffed because we showed up for a table at 9pm, and they told us it was at least a 20 minute wait, but only 4 tables were occupied. They then told us we can sit at the bar (and told us it was the same kind of food), and after we settled in and were ready to order, they told us that although it was the same kind of food, we couldn't order children's meals. I'm not sure how they missed the 3 children standing next to us when they offered us a place at the bar! However, we did eat at the restaurant a night before and the girl who helped us was very pleasant (I'm sorry I didn't get her name). The hotel is close to public transportation, so that is a plus. The hotel is ok, but for the overall quality, it is a little pricey. However, it is London and everything is pricey! If I go back to London, I may want to try another hotel, but I would say that this hotel is ok (7/10).

Little Gem of a Hotel on outskirts of London
Everything was perfect (except for noisy people shouting in corridor outside our room at 1am and again at 3.20am). Room was quite small but otherwise, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices was amazing. Added bonus of water taxi made our trip perfect.

Value for money extremely poor
This hotel was in a fantastic spot with a free and very frequent ferry service across the river. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived but that was fine we were happy to store our bags and go out. When we returned it still wasn’t ready so we went out again. When we finally were able to access our room we were very disappointed. Bed was very comfortable, however the room was an odd shape and not very practical at all the bathroom was extremely small and pokey Toilet right in the doorway and the basin was extremely low. More fitting for a child’s height. The door to the bathroom swing open and was quiet dangerous when you were trying to enter the bathroom around the toilet. There was also a potent smell in the hallway on our floor This was not a cheap hotel and dearer than the Hilton at London Bridge where the room was significantly better. The value for money was extremely poor. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The alarm clock in the room went off at 7amand was so loud and horrible it was like a fire alarm, plus we couldn't turn it off. Then the main knocked multiple times on the door. They should have a system to be notified when guests check out to avoid all of the unwanted wake ups
