Great location, superb breakfast
This hotel is a perfect location, close to the tram and train station and only 10 minute walk to the shops and town/bar/restaurant area. The hotel is currently renovating so the route to the gym and pool is not direct. It's a massive shame that while you are trying to workout (mid-day) that the cleaning lady spent 20 minutes or so hoovering. I then escaped to the sauna for some piece and quiet and sure enough 5 minutes later in she popped again banging the glass with her cleaning broom and throwing soap and water over the floor. This cleaning should be done either before these ares open in the morning or after they close at night. NOT HAPPY!! Breakfast has a very wide selection and is very good. It can be a bit slow waiting for hot drinks while trainee staff seem to just stand there and are too afraid to talk and act with guests and take their orders. I would like to add, that the first time a guest enters for breakfast they should be told and explained exactly how the process works. There is a menu on the table and it wasn't until the second day we realised we could order off it at no extra charge as we had already paid for breakfast in our booking. Staff are very good and after a bad first nights sleep due to a constant leaking and dripping toilet we were quickly moved to another room and for the inconvenience were upgraded at no extra cost. Thank You!
