    The hotel was clean, modern, and well updated. The staff was friendly and courteous. The location was great, within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping centres. Very safe and not loud. Many other areas had rowdy visitors, but this hotel was well maintained. Perhaps, the best aspect is that they lock front doors at midnight to protect clients.

    Stay here!

    Great little hotel with lots of little touches. It is an interesting place in itself and celebrates the fact it was previously a newspaper building. Great location within walking distance to all the major attractions, and an easy walk from the central station.

    I thought the location was poor as it was on a major street with a tram line. I could hear the trams go by constantly. The street was also littered with garbage. The lobby of the hotel was indeed wonderful, but when the elevator opened onto the fourth floor the hallways were unpleasantly dark, and the industrial carpet appeared soiled. I found the room had an interesting vibe with the “cartoon style Map” wallpaper, but after four nights it was truly not a relaxing environment. The hotel staff were pleasant, and the restaurant nice, but I would not recommend this property.

    More TV channel options for sports

    The stay was excellent but being from Canada that had late night basketball and hockey playoffs it should be noted that you could add to your tv package ESPN or some international tv stations. It would have been nice! A lot of people on the streets were saying the same thing. Some of their hotels had the sports channels available. Lucky them!

    Service was very good. Staff very helpful. Turn down service. Coffee and water in the room are little things that go a long way, which this hotel offers. One issue I would say was that the lobby does not have comfortable lounge area. Hotel is great quality and great location.
