Front Desk Stole My Money
I stayed at this hotel from Feb 8-10 on a prepaid reservation from Upon checkout I was asked for my credit card in order to pay. 212,379 Colombian Pesos on a room I had already paid for. Within a day I realized what they had done and left a message with The following week I was booked to stay there again, complained about being double charged and was given a form to fill out for a refund. 6 days later, no refund. I called, they put me on hold while they spoke with the hotel, then came back that the hotel had refused to refund my money. I had previously been a fan of the Ibis chain from my stays in Merida and Cancun, but this is straight up theft and I will not tolerate it. Also, I don't know if my room was located near a main water wall, but I had a constant running water noise in my ear all night. The location is great, the food is adequate, but the front desk staff will double charge you for prepaid reservations and the management will not make it right.

Nice budget hotel in the heart of the city
I enjoyed staying here and indeed extended my stay for its comfort. The hotel is located right next to the National Museum and behind it there is a street with many choices of restaurants. Wifi was strong and stable. Yes I could confirm some reviews writing about the amenity being minimal. I personally did not find it much of an issue as I brought my own shampoo and conditioner. There are many grocery stores within a few minutes walk if you need ones. I would love to stay here again if I visit Bogota.

Hotel was great. Room was plenty for two people. Air conditioner was struggling dealing with hot natured Americans. But no real problem.

the only thing that seemed uncomfortable is that I had to pay again the taxes that I thought were already paid when I made the initial reservation

For the price OK
The room was small but for the pice ok. Its downtown so you hear lots of traffic during the day and early morning. If you like a firm bed you are in luck. Room was clean and service was good.
