Broken elevator. Mediocre repairs done to the facility. Paint spray over fire sprinklers. Paint on carpets. Rusted patio chairs and table. Areas in disrepair. Jet tub had cracks.
Great location, Excellent customer service and friendly staff. The ability to book a room with a private balcony is so rare these days so this was a nice amenity. I was not pleased that I was placed on a floor that was under construction with my young daughter. We were isolated and at the end of a hallway. Construction started at 9am and ended at 7-7:30pm in the evening. We had to navigate around construction material in the hallway and the plastic on the floors was a tripping hazard. The workers were very friendly, but it was not what I wanted to listen to for 3 days, and I did not feel safe being isolated.
The room we were in 322 had nails all around walls on carpet that had worked their way out of the walls. My kids found them and picked them up
The room itself was fine. The check-in process was a nightmare. Charged two times for the room, took fifteen minutes for a simple check-in process. Finally got up to the room after waiting 5 minutes for an elevator to the fifth floor. Keys did not work. Had to go back down and a lady took us back to our room without keys to let us in. She said if we needed to go anywhere in the meantime to leave something wedged in the door so it stayed open and they don't have problems with people messing in other peoples rooms. No way was I doing this. Everyone was friendly enough and I don't really have any complaints other than that.
I'd I would have ranked this property higher, but two issues: 1) There are lots of renovations going on and you see evidence of this in some of the rooms, or at least the room I stayed in -- lots of dust and what looked liked pieces of drywall on the floor. No one seemed to have vacuumed the floor after whatever renovations were done. 2) This property has six floors and one of the two main elevators was out of order. According to one of the staff, it's been out of order for over a month. A MONTH. C'mon, get the elevator fixed already.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was great. They were in the middle of renovation so it was noisy and dusty and you walked thru all the construction equipment to get to your room. Plus they worked until after 6pm and started back at 8am. There was a bar next door so you could hear the music until after 12pm.
Hotel is going through renovation. Great location, close to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast is good..Chris at front desk is awesome.
The people were very nice; the facility was undergoing construction; I went there after a Surgical procedure: they did there best .
The Renovations made it impossible to relax.
Always peaceful
