A Friendly Oasis in Manhattan
An attractive hotel with well appointed guest rooms. Friendly staff, helpful and pleasant. Nice area with some local restaurants and interesting stores. Subway very near-by. Excelsior is a refuge from the heat of the city on a hot summer day. Definitely returning. already booked. Great accommodation that doesn't break the budget.

Excellent location. Very clean. My only concern is the strong floral scent in the hallways and rooms. Very challenging when you have allergies

The hotel over all was very nice, staff was friendly, always smiling,!! But we didn't care for the extra charges they put on our stay, The facility should of been in the regular rate. Also the 2 double beds were a little cramped. Would of been nice to have queen size beds.

Very close to Central Park ! Great bar and restaurant downstairs.

Great hotel. Quie, clean and comfortable. Adjacent to Central Park and close to the subway. Lots of restaurants nearby, and just a short taxi ride to the Met. Staff was very helpful.
