We were contemplating among a few hotels to stay in Chicago, and choosing The Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown was one of the best decisions we have made! Excellent front desk customer service. Stayed there for 3nights and every staff on duty makes you feel welcome. Love the hotel lobby & room decor. Location of hotel is so walkable to many places of interests and love the fact that when you walk out of the hotel, the view is open, not blocked by buildings. We got the room with river view and we never got tired waking up to the view!

Awesome!
Check in was smooth. My daughter and I were running a little bit ahead of schedule but the receptionist was kind enough to allow us to check in a little early. Which gave us time to rest after a long flight before we began our tourist agenda. Room was great view was nice. I didn't get too much of a river view but that's ok. One thing I definitely loved was how good the lobby smelled lol first thing my daughter and I noticed. All the employees were friendly and welcoming, I'm definitely coming back here when I visit Chicago again!
